Just saw the trailer for Netflix version of House of Cards. And it raises the question: Netflix paid $150 million for this? It appears to lack all of the silky black humor that made the Original BBC version such a classic. I knew they were in trouble when I heard Kevin Spacey trot out his Virginia accent.
