RANKER: The Best Countries to Meet Women
My former home of Norway finished first, and I have to say that might well be fair, although I would rank Norway just a hair below Denmark because the Danish women are just as attractive, but more aggressive. This list placed Denmark down in 10th.
Another former home of mine, Hungary, finished 29th. I can't tell you what it is like now, but I would have rated it first during the time I lived there. The women were spectacularly beautiful, and the men generally looked like rejects from ZZ Top, which meant that any halfway-attractive and properly groomed man in Hungary in the early 90s was as conspicuous as the late Paul Walker would have been on Duck Dynasty. I couldn't speak a word of Hungarian and still managed to draw a crowd of women on most nights. Best of all, the Hungarians read books and had an excellent educational system, so the women were interesting to talk to, and I found a great love there. That candle didn't burn long, but it burned oh, so brightly (and I still think about her from time to time).
I found Hungary a much better place to meet women than, for example, Brazil, which was filled with beautiful women, but was also filled with beautiful, fit men, mostly younger than I was, so my only selling points were my blond hair and my expense account, neither of which is much good to get past superficial conversations.
I was kind of surprised to see Venezuela so low on the list. I spent only a couple of weeks there and I had absolutely no success in the romantic arena, but I thought the women there were as beautiful as the ones in Brazil, and they were very interested in foreigners. (Basically, they hoped to get the hell out of Venezuela, and who could blame them?)
I was also surprised to see the Philippines so low. I guess that ranking is a result of Manila being filled with sleaze. I found the women of Philippines to be very charming, and always about 100% dressed and made-up. It seems like every store clerk and secretary there was permanently ready to attend a gala premiere!
