Here's the real reason why Donald Trump fired James Comey
Yet another reason!
"Director Comey was very unpopular with most people," said Trump. "I actually thought when I made that decision -- and I also got a very, very strong recommendation, as you know, from the Deputy Attorney General, Rod Rosenstein."
I've finally figured Trump out. He has that same memory disease as the guy in Memento. He literally has no memory of anything that has ever happened in the past, including yesterday. That explains why he has offered so many different explanations of the same thing (he doesn't realize he's already said something different), or why he thinks statements of fact are "fake news" (he can't remember them happening).
