Trump Is Considering Firing Robert Mueller, Friend Says

"Is the president actually weighing the move? Chris Ruddy, a confidant of the president, has a simple answer: Yes."

"By statute, Trump cannot directly fire Mueller. He could, however, order Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to do so."

  2. Some say he’s mad, others that lesser hate him
Do call it valiant fury. But, for certain,
He cannot buckle his distempered cause
    Within the belt of rule.

    1. OK, yours is better than mine.

    1. Well yeah I figured. Just about time to get ready to spruce this one up for re-use, too -

"For years I've regarded his existence as a monument to all the rancid genes and broken chromosomes that corrupt the possibilities of the American Dream; he was a foul caricature of himself, a man with no soul, no inner convictions, with the integrity of a hyena and the style of a poison toad. The Nixon I remembered was absolutely humorless; I couldn't imagine him laughing at anything except maybe a paraplegic who wanted to vote Democratic but couldn't quite reach the lever on the voting machine." -HST

    2. While we're quoting Hunter ...

"George McGovern, for all his mistakes ... understands what a fantastic monument to all the best instincts of the human race this country might have been, if we could have kept it out of the hands of greedy little hustlers like Richard Nixon."

... or, of course, The Donald.
