Anthony Scaramucci Loved Hillary, Gave to Obama, and Deleted Anti-Trump Tweets

The new White House communications director didn’t always like his boss and started deleting tweets within hours of getting the gig.

On a Fox News appearance in August 2015, Scaramucci called Trump a "hack politician" whose rhetoric is "anti-American and very, very divisive." He warned Trump to "cut it out now" and "stop all this crazy rhetoric."

  1. You see? That's one of the good things about Trump and how he is slowly draining the swamp. He hires people based on their abilities and knowledge rather than their political connections or affiliations.

    1. Are you fucking retarded?

    2. No, but I would venture to say you are, since you cannot accept another person's opinion without using profanity.

    3. No, that wasn't an opinion. It's simply and obviously wrong.

Trump very clearly does NOT hire based on merit, and the assertion that he does implies a fantastic level of detachment from reality.

But I suppose that was incorrect, as the developmentally disabled aren't capable of such levels of ideological self-delusion.

    4. Oh come on, give the Gent SOME credit. His sentences contain verbs and nouns, his spelling is good, his arguments are coherent. Top 10% of the Trump train, basically. The house tard here is that snipes007 guy. He's always got something to say that came right off a bumper sticker. At best.

  2. But will Scaramucci do the Fandango when there are thunderbolts and lightening?

  3. The thing with Spicey was, he always *knew* he was spouting bullshit, so he was always covered in a thin layer of flopsweat.
This guy is more like Trump himself: high on his own supply. He can say the most preposterous things while knowing they are true. Because it is convenient for them to be true.
Let's not forget - five years ago, Trump was a big Democrat donor, close friend of the Clintons.

On balance, though, my opinion is that o mamma mia mamma mia will not let him go.

    1. Not sure what that last sentence means but remember one other important thing... Ronald Reagan was a Democrat at one time. At a press conference, he was asked why he left the Democrat Party and he replied, "Well, I didn't leave the Democrats, they left me."

  4. (Just continuing the Bohemian Rhapsody riff from further up the thread.)
I agree that Reagan said that. On the scale of whoppers the man told, this is right up there with "we need a peace shield" and taking credit for the work of Solidarnosc after he'd cut their funding.

Reagan was a union leader in the 50s. By the time he was elected governor he was a business-hugging Republican. Nothing specifically wrong with that - the man thought about it and changed his mind. But why not just say so, instead of putting up this front of having been consistent?

Trump though - like Sanders - never really bought into his party's platform. You have to call yourself one or the other to run. He'd have run as a Democrat if he thought he had a better chance of out-primarying Hillary than of beating the contents of the clown-car like he did.

  5. Regardless of how he did it, the fact remains that he did it. Now if we could just get the rest of the nation to at least accept that fact and move on, like our erstwhile President told everybody in 2008, we could actually make good progress toward restoring this country to it's former glory.
