TV Journalist Says Harvey Weinstein Masturbated In Front Of Her

It seems that just about everyone in Hollywood must have known he was a creep, yet it remained unknown to the general public. How did he get away with such public boorishness with so many women for so long?

  1. He's a creep and a bastard, apparently, but is he THAT bad? Or is this just another Cosby/ Trump jump on them while they're down thing?

    1. Cosby is a serial rapist, Trump confessed on tape to assaulting women, and I'm not even that closely connected to the "industry" and -I- knew weinstein was up to this stuff. Money and power buy silence.

    2. Wow. How long have you personally known these three men?

You DO know them personally and they have confessed all this to you, right?

      Right?

  2. The Gent might be the biggest Trump apologist I've seen.

How can you call yourself The Gent and support a guy like Trump?

DO you him personally and are always around him so YOU know everything he's done?

  3. The “Gent” is in the Trump base Demo. Don’t expect him to be rational.

  4. It's basically the "How do you know? Were you there?" attack on evolution.

  5. Actually, Trump never "confessed on tape to assaulting women." He said that in Hollywood, beautiful women would let any man who is famous or powerful do anything he wants, even grab them by (etc.) That could mean he did it, or it could be a criticism of the women for letting men do it. It's crude, but it wasn't a confession. However, it is indisputably true. It's even the basis of an old joke that's been around for decades, about the blonde actress who was so dumb, she slept with a writer.

As for how Weinstein's exploits could have gone unreported for so long in Hollywood, that's easy: Hollywood is filled with craven hypocrites who congratulate themselves for "speaking truth to power" when they insult Republicans (knowing full well there will be no "fascist" crackdowns and if anything, it will get them more work). But when it comes to outing people who have real power in Hollywood, they keep their mouths shut and let the victims fend for themselves. Sure, they might feel bad about those women being sexually abused, but they're not going to attack a major power player and end up waiting tables for the rest of their lives over it. Now that the NY Times did it first, they're finally willing to "speak truth to a Hollywood power," but only because they sense his power is gone so it's safe now. Give them a medal of valor along with their People's Choice Awards.

    1. While Trump didn't actually say any words like "I personally grab them by the pussy," that is strongly implied by the full context of his remarks.

"I’ve got to use some Tic Tacs, just in case I start kissing her. You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything.”
