Wall Street millionaire accused of assaulting and raping models in ‘dungeon'
This is not a case like Kevin Spacey touching somebody's knee, but brutal criminal behavior involving drugging women before beating, torturing and raping them.
But it gets complicated when you know the whole story:
It is important to note that this is a lawsuit; no criminal charges have been filed, possibly because the women might be charged with prostitution if they told their stories to the police. Mr. Rubin paid them to be there, and all three plaintiffs "claimed they returned after the first violent encounter because they needed money. (Rubin's) associates then offered them more cash in exchange for their silence and paid their medical bills." It wasn't really a vast amount of money. The initial payment for the trip was $2,000 plus expenses, with a $3,000 bonus to be paid if Rubin was satisfied.
