Trump boasts about doing things “proper,” talks North Korea, and attacks Michael Wolff in Camp David speech
In his speech he proclaimed that everyone wants DACA to get resolved and it is the right thing to do. "We all want DACA to happen." Almost in the same breath, he said “The wall’s going to happen or we’re not going to have DACA.” So he admits he will do something he knows is wrong, disrupting and destroying the lives of hundreds of thousands of loyal and law-abiding American residents unless he gets his way on the wall.
By the way, just in passing, the "Dreamers" actually save money for the American taxpayer. First-generation immigrants who enter the United States as children pay, on average, more in taxes over their lifetimes than they receive in benefits, because they have to pay the same taxes as citizens, but are not eligible for any federal cash assistance, food stamps, Medicaid, health-care tax credits or any other type of Federal welfare. If you deport them, your tax bill goes up.
By the way, Trump is entirely correct about one thing: "We never should have lost Alabama." Trump's choice was Luther Strange. If Strange had run, he would have won, probably by an overwhelming amount. Bannon was all in on Mr. Bad Touch, who cost the GOP a Senate seat.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
