WaPo: Pruitt indulges in first-class travel on taxpayers' dime
I would hope so. Do these reporters think the head of the EPA should (1) work for a government agency at a tenth of what he would make in the private sector; AND (2) fly coach and stay at Motel 6. Gimme a break. I don't like Scott Pruitt at all, but let's get real, shall we?
The one legitimate point made here is that Pruitt travels with a very large entourage. There's plenty of room for economizing right there. Since a very small number of people know what he looks like, and his travel schedule is not announced in advance, he could probably travel safely with one aide and one bodyguard.
