NRA tells the court it is in financial jeopardy, may soon be ‘unable to exist’

Aww. I’m gonna miss those guys. Thoughts and prayers.

Wait! Can’t they just get more from Putin?

  1. It’s a legal brief about insurance and the questionably legal tactics the state of new york is using against the NRA. They are not going broke, and they don’t murder babies.

The NRA and its members are the only organization that gets blamed when someone who is NOT a member commits a crime.

People keep thinking the NRA is some corporate entity with its own agenda. Those people are wrong. It’s an association of members nationwide. The instant you try to engage that association, you infringe on the right of the people to associate freely. Do people really want to set that precedent? To allow a unit of government to shut down an association of people?

Oh, I forgot, it’s ok to do that to something you don’t approve of.

  2. At first I thought the headline said “NBA” and I was thinking “those owners will tell the courts anything to reduce the percentage of revenue that goes to the players.”

  3. Oh, I see the NRA is blaming it on the expense of lawsuits. I apologize for not reading the article before posting. That is dumb to do.

  4. It is difficult to see how the NRA could have mismanaged themselves to this extent. I would have thought that between their corporate sponsors, like manufacturers of guns, ammunition, and shooting accessories, and their membership, their income would be substantial and reliable. One wonders if they spent wildly, or if their support is turning away from them, or if there has been corruption.

Thanks for posting this news. I might not have seen it otherwise.

  5. Maybe we can funnel some of the money to them out of the baby murdering business
