Trump inauguration crowd photos were edited after he intervened
The lies and shenanigans began the day he took office. To summarize, for those who have forgotten, Trump told the preposterous lie that his inauguration was the most attended in history. Photographs and transit records showed that not only did he attract far fewer people than Obama did in 2009, but he actually attracted fewer people than the anti-Trump protests the very next day!
In order to buttress his unsupportable claims, Trump asked the National Park Service to present the photos in a manner less inimical to his position, so the photographer dutifully went back and cropped out the empty areas.
