But what do the voters of SC and the Christian Right think? That’s the issue.
I imagine they’ve already rendered that verdict, however he identifies. He was a member of the House of Representatives for 4 terms, and if he decides, will run for a 4th senatorial term in 2020.
It’s his business, if he is and wants to keep it private that’s his choice. If he’s not, then I feel sorry for him for having to deny it. (As a never married, straight 50 year-old I totally get how frustrating that is).
To the extent that it matters… Well it certainly doesn’t matter to me. Regardless, I don’t see how it’s anyone’s business but his own (and possibly anyone he might date).

I don’t care if you are proud of being a flaming gay, it’s no one’s business except yours and your partner(s). When it comes to this topic, I have a better set of initials – STFU.
There are people in this world that give off that “vibe” that aren’t gay, and those that don’t that are. I people of both type personally.
