As expected, Notre Dame was not competitive against Clemson

Final score 30-3.

“Notre Dame is 0-8 in BCS and New Year’s Six games since winning the Cotton Bowl in 1993.”

  1. i love UCF and think they can beat LSU and would have done more than Notre Dame but could have never beat Ala or Clemson. I can’t believe either that opening line Ala by 6. That will put a chip on Clemson defense. Tua is in big trouble now

    1. Don’t forget that Notre Dame was the #3 seed! If UCF had gone in, it would have replaced Oklahoma, not Notre Dame.

But in response to your question, I think UCF would have done better.

But Clemson is really, really good. I’m kinda surprised that ‘Bama is a six or seven point favorite.

      1. True, ND was #3, and deserved to have a higher seed than one-loss OU.

But by the eyesight test they were obviously the weakest of the four. Everyone knew they were out of their league.

UCF was likely in the same boat, but ND got in over them solely because of name recognition/fan base.

  2. what did you expect Clemson defense is so dominant not even
Alabama can beat it and it was Oklahoma defense they played so don’t get excited
