And maybe to Phoenix next!

Snow comes to L.A.

  1. It has. My folks retired to Sun City West. I would fly out to visit them at Christmas. One time in the early 80s there were snowflakes in the air when we were going from Sky Harbor to SCW. I’m not sure any actually made it to the ground. Certainly not snow by Ohio let alone Upstate standards.

  2. When I lived in Phoenix, it snowed in Scottsdale. They didn’t call it snow, they called it ‘graupel’. I asked a couple of people if they thought we should go build a graupelman or maybe have a graupelball fight. They didn’t seem to understand my ‘raised in the Midwest” snow humor.

  3. Reminds me of Bladerunner 2049. In the movie, the weather was so borked it was completely unpredictable: snow blizzard, blazing sun, torrential rain, dust storm.
