Bernie Sanders enters 2020 presidential race: “Complete the revolution”

  1. There are a lot of us. I expect that there will be a new 2nd party emerging to replace the Trump Cult by 28 and certainly no later than 32. The great crackup might begin earlier – if either the Orange Buffoon loses in 20 or if he wins (depressingly possible) but then tries in 24 to install Diaper Don (DJTjr) as his successor.
With all the “phony Betomania” (sorry Clash) goings-on in the Donkey Crew, they seem totally capable of putting up an unelectable in 20.
And yeah Hilary was truly awful and keeps proving it. “I lost because of Comey!!!” Give me a break. The woman practices server security and nobody ever hears of the guy.

  2. Republican Presidential Candidates I have voted for:
Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Reagan, Bush, Bush, Dole, Bush, Bush, McCain, Romney (gagging a little), and Kasich.
Democratic Presidential candidates I have voted for: still working on it.
Haven’t actually changed my registration to Independent so am still technically a Republican.
The “problem” is with the Party. It has been dumbed down over the last 25 years to the point where it fell for a BS artist and empty suit who is neither a conservative nor a Republican all in the name of beating Hilary – even though there were probably several Republicans who could have done that. And now it is becoming a personal cult for this stupid, ignorant, bigoted, xenophobic, immoral, unethical, physically and morally cowardly, and completely dishonest grifter of dubious patriotism. Your comments show that you are the typical clueless MAGAcapper.
“I didn’t leave my Party, it left me.”
Btw, me a Dem? When pigs fly.

    1. If you told me 4 years ago that I would be seriously considering voting for a Democrat in 2020 I would have fallen out of my chair laughing. My list of presidential votes is the same as yours starting with Bush in 1988, except while I voted for Kasich in the NY Primary in 2016, I voted for Gary Johnson in the general. There was no way I was going to vote for Hillary if I had any choice, but I have decided I will seriously consider voting for a Democrat if they are even reasonably moderate. But Bernie Sanders, while seeming to be a nice enough man, is so far left that he would leave me no choice but to vote for Trump. I doubt he will win, but I gave Trump no shot at getting the nomination at this point 4 years ago. My biggest concern is that whoever does get the Democratic nomination will have moved so far left to counter Bernie that Trump will win or worse yet that we would be better off of he did. Hobson’s choices after Hobson’s choices.

  3. “Demoncrats”
Jeez. If I were still a Republican I’d feel embarrassed by hearing that kind of 5th grade level stuff.

    1. Your comment shows that you are a Dem. Out of the entire comment about why ol’ Bern will not get the nom you focused on one word. Congratulations. You are part of the problem.

  4. Doesn’t stand a chance. The Demoncrats do not want him. He is a naive Socialist, which is worse than your standard run of the mill variety. He actually believes that you can have free healthcare for all, free college, $15 to $20 an hour minimum wage and all the rest.

He fails to take into account WHO is going to pay for all of this free stuff. Tax the rich? Yeah, that’s gonna work since a large percentage of Demoncrats are THE rich…

Good Luck, Bern. It’s not going to do you any good but you’re gonna need it.

    1. Egad sir, your brilliant wordplay has completely converted me to your political viewpoint. MAGA! Crooked Hilary! and so forth…

Seems Trump himself is working (to the extent that he works at all) on new nicknames…

…for all the Dem candidates, so you may have to workshop some new names for the party. I haven’t seen “DIMocrats” anywhere, feel free to use this – with attribution, of course.
