Random fact: in the blu-ray commentary for this, Tobe Hooper said she showed up for work shaved, so he demanded she grow a bush and delayed her nude scenes until it grew in. Must be nice to be a director: “How’s that bush coming today, Matilda? Let’s have a look, honey.”
I’ve also read that she wore a merkin.
