The NY Post does a political version of “March Madness”

It’s based upon who suffers from the most derangement (“madness”) about Trump.

Who is the winner of Mueller Madness?

  1. Trump calls the mainstream media ‘fake news.’ They generally aren’t ‘fake’ but they are generally sensationalist, sloppy and simplistic. The ironic thing in this is that this simplistic media helped Trump by falsely stating the Barr summary of the Mueller report found ‘no evidence’ of collusion/conspiracy.

In fact, the summary itself never uses the term ‘no evidence’ and, in regards to the collusion/conspiracy, the summary quotes directly from the Mueller report:

“[T]he investigation did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.”

“Did not establish” does not sound the same to me as ‘no evidence’ it sounds much more like ‘could not find a smoking gun quid pro quo.’

Yet, all the idiot Trump cultists, who decry the ‘fake media’ were regurgitating false ‘no evidence’ line.

  2. Colbert did a good bit on this Post bracket spoof. He was pretty proud of being seeded third in the East. (John Oliver only seeded fourth). 🙂

  3. If the Post could be embarrassed, they would be when a lot of this proves to be true.
Maddow chased down the Inaugural committee story, which looks like it is going to lead to some prominent people being charged.

    1. 1. You might be too serious about this!

      2. The Post shares with our President the inability to feel embarrassment.

  4. The public hasn’t even seen the report yet. The longer it takes to relaease it, the worse it looks for Trump.

    1. You guys said the same thing about his tax returns. While democrats keep waiting and crying about it, he’s busy making America great again.

      1. If Trump didn’t have the democrats to bitch about, he literally wouldn’t even HAVE a platform.

Republicans love you Trump supporting dumbasses. You’re like brain damaged dogs, your entire platform is to bark at what someone is saying in the news or on social media, while they go and pass corporate tax cuts for the ‘elites’ you guys bitch about so much.

I would be willing to let you rural bumfucks take a third of the land in the US to go raze on like mindless cows, and leave the rest of the people with common sense alone.

Dur … corporate tax cuts, MAGA!
Oh it went all to shareholders and not employees or consumers.

Dur, spending a trillion on a wall will stop immigration & drugs!
Oh, the cartels use ports of entry and tunneling to funnel drugs. Oh most illegal immigrants come here legally and their Visa expires. And ladders were invented a few thousand years ago. Doh!

I don’t see how you mouth breathers function on a daily basis. I bet its a hell of a task balancing that drool cup and chewing tobacco spit jug during the day.

        1. Have you even been paying attention or are you just sucking down that Democrat Kool-Aid? The Democrats ONLY campaign issue is HATE TRUMP, while Trump is going ahead and lowering the unemployment rate ACROSS THE BOARD, reducing illegal immigration, boosting business confidence, lowering taxes and other things too numerous to continue listing here.

People like you are why I stay worried about the future of our country.

          1. I’m not a Democrat, I’m an independent. Democratic options are the better of two options, because Republicans like yourself believe in bullshit trickle-down economics, and worship war hawks and authoritarianism, and are too stupid to see the only thing career Republicans want to do is increase the deficit to make sure the billionaires become trillionaires, by making sure corporations and CEO aren’t taxed – at all. And increase the deficit even more by funding huge authoritarianism industrialism by military funding increases.

The unemployment rate has been going down for several years, off the backs of the previous regime’s inertia. You think Trump is some sort of economic genius just because he came into office and tada, everyone bowed to his economic prowess? The guy can’t even put together an coherent sentence, much less explain the nature of Keynesian versus Chicago-school economics. And I’m guessing brain dead followers like yourself couldn’t either.

You want economics, then look at what the same exact policies Trump (well not Trump, because he couldn’t fill out a coloring book, but McConnell and Ryan have made Trump a useful idiot for) is implementing that caused the 2008 recession. We know the results of this as a fact. Liberalism and Keynesian economics created the New Deal by FDR. Reaganomics and trickle-down economics destroyed the deficit and caused several recession.

Keynes says it best: “Capitalism is the astounding belief that the most wickedest of men, will do the most wickedest of things, for the greatest good of everyone.”

If you’re a Republican, you’re one of two things:

            1. A total corrupt piece of shit who’s either been born in the entitled class with a silver spoon in their mouth, and never worked a legitimate day in their life, using backroom deals and money laundering to accumulate as much wealth as possible. If you’re that, and actually admit being a total piece of shit sociopath who thinks ‘fuck you, got mine’ – then congrats. At least I respect you for being more honest than the other type of Republican. Even though you actively push a Bladerunner corporate dystopia where slave replicants are produced and everyone else lives in a scorched atmospheric authoritarian hell, at least you’re honest about it.

2 – A total dumbass that thinks trickle-down economics works for the greater good, in spite of every piece of factual evidence in all of human history, and human nature, that greed is good and the only thing keeping the economy from getting better is not giving corporations and CEOs MORE money. Because gee, one million, one billion, one trillion just isn’t enough – maybe if we give them just a *little* more they’ll trickle down enough pocket change to give someone, somewhere job. Forget automation the past 100 years.

Forget the fact that study after study shows any tax breaks go to bank accounts and paying off corporate debt. Or stock buybacks so CEOs stock options rise in value. Or another mega-merger where position ‘redundancies’ are eliminated. Or recession after recession is caused by *shocker* corporate greed by a few people fucking over everyone else for their own gain. Somehow, someway, against all logic and every bit of human history – you manage to believe one of the dumbest lies possible. And then most of you goto church every Sunday to pat yourself on the backs for what upstanding citizens you are.

You’re welcome. I just simplified Republican Chicago-school economics for you in a simple blog post, and didn’t even have to pick up a book. Not like you guys do that sort of thing anyway, obviously, with your belief system.

Well unless its the one to read random selected quotes to those dirty gays you guys care so much about, at least.

  5. A majority (56%) says the President and his campaign have not been exonerated of collusion, but that what they’ve heard or read about the report shows collusion could not be proven. Fewer, 43%, say Trump and his team have been exonerated of collusion.

Although Mueller could not establish Trump or his campaign “conspired or coordinated with” the Russian go
