About that Otto Warmbier “ransom” …

It was exactly as we guessed. The Trump administration did agree to pay $2 million for Warmbier’s release, but they did not actually pay it.

Trump has finally managed to apply his famed business practices in government!

  1. Bro, have you been drinking and reading Candide ? Why is every move that fraud makes retroactively the best of all possible worlds?
He’s going to leave this country with a credibility hangover for a decade.

  2. So the dems/socialists/communists prefer we actually pay the ransom to dear leader? Trump handled that situation the best way possible. Got Otto back for his parents and didn’t pay a dime.

    1. I think you’re right in that the short-term result was the best possible outcome. On the other hand, (1) you can only use that trick once; (2) NK is not going to believe a word we say from now on.

Those two things may or may not be important.

    1. Which is the primary reason why the Obama camp chose “Uncle Joe” Biden as his running mate. Anybody who might want to take a shot at Obama would likely hold off due to the fact that Biden would then become President and that would be worse than Obama!

I wish people would stop talking about Biden like he was some kind of ‘elder statesman’ of the Democrat Party. Just because he’s older does not mean he’s smarter than he ever was.

      1. The original here is Quayle as VP for Daddy Bush. Yes, Joe is refried Hillary but I bet most of the potential Obama assassins would have settled for anyone with less melanin.

  3. He’s been doing that all along, which is why the US currently has about as much credibility as Trump University and Trump Steaks.
