Mueller team frustrated that ‘alarming and significant’ evidence of president’s obstruction has not been revealed

… or as Trump would word it, “total and complete exoneration” …

There was immediate displeasure from the team when they saw how the attorney general had characterised their work

  1. Pierce or Buchanan. Only because Harding except for Interior had a pretty good Cabinet.

  2. Worse than Nixon.
How far back would you have to go to find a worse president? Harding?

    1. Depends on your definition of “worse.” If you mean ” a worse human being to hold the office,” I would say you can go back as far as you like. Nobody even comes close except Andrew Jackson. If you mean “a worse President,” I prefer to reserve judgment. While his words are always insensitive, dishonest and stupid, he doesn’t always act on his bad impulses, so some of his bad ideas end in words.

But if he eliminates the ACA without a replacement plan, or actually closes the Southern border, or causes a recession with more silly tariffs, or any of the other foolish schemes he’s always proposing, then I would have to agree with Bill that you have to go back to Buchanan, because he has already screwed up some important areas, like the EPA and the entire Interior department, and he could have done much worse things if the other branches hadn’t held him in check. (Muslim ban. e.g.)

He must have the worst cabinet I can recall, but my knowledge there is too superficial. Perhaps some of you guys know more about inept cabinets assembled before our lifetimes.
