For all of the money we are spending, NASA should NOT be talking about going to the Moon – We did that 50 years ago. They should be focused on the much bigger things we are doing, including Mars (of which the Moon is a part), Defense and Science!

I am sure Sarah Sanders will explain that the Moon is a part of Mars, and everyone who ever thought otherwise was brainwashed by the liberal media elite.
I’m sure Sarah Sanders will explain that he meant “apart” because they are separate.
To be fair, he meant that a reboot of moon missions is the first part of NASA’s plan to create a Mars mission. Of course that makes even less sense, because he contradicted himself in a single tweet. You can’t oppose the reboot of moon missions while supporting the Mars mission because, as he stated so clumsily, the moon is part of Mars. But as we all know, he never really worries about contradicting himself.
I think he may have just meant that it’s been a part of NASA’s mission.
