The Late Night guys look at Trump’s Orlando rally

Trevor Noah’s theme was that Trump’s speech was exactly identical to his 2016 speeches

Colbert noted the same thing, but his most hilarious take was when he made fun of Trump’s brags about crowd size. (Contrary to what you might have heard, there was zero overflow, there were empty seats inside, and Colbert’s staffers were able to buy tickets at the last minute after their press credentials were denied.)

  1. I have no idea what you’re replying to, ma’am. I clearly didn’t say any of that, but don’t let a lie get in the way of a good liberal agrument!

You guys are starting to panic. I’m beginning to think TDS is a real thing!

    1. The entire jist of your argument is basically a persecution complex. Keep persecuting us, it only makes us stronger! And look at all this money!

Why is nothing Trump says or does based on actual research or policy? His entire base, like yourself, are completely based on emotional and anecdotal responses to everything, then when you get called out for it, you can’t defend it with fact or logic. You just run back to your Fox News affirmation hole.

Can you guys EVER respond to anything in a clear logical manner?

Let me ask you this, do you enjoy the fact that Donald Trump has already spent more taxpayer money on his vacations and security than any other President in history? Just because someone is on the left or right side, I think almost all Americans *should* agree that it’s a little much, right?

When PBS does a poll of asking corporations how the corporate tax cuts have changed their decision making and only SIX percent said they had more hires from it, could you explain why that’s an effective strategy to create better jobs or boost stagnant wages?

When Trump rails on and on about his wall stopping things like the drug trade, while DEA agents and even cartels themselves say they don’t come over the border that way because it’s just not efficient anyway, and DEA says money should be used to strengthen security on ports of entry, why is that an effective strategy?

That’s three simple questions, and I could add 100 more. Liberal, conservative, or not – why can’t you guys THINK with your brains? You’re the ones going to his rallies and celebrating empty rallying quotes, while you don’t see liberals going around with Obama or Clinton hats on like a mindless cult.

I don’t give a crap what he says on Twitter or all the little piddly bullshit that’s argued about 99% of the time. You can’t defend his actual SUBSTANCE with anything logical, ever. Have some self respect and think for yourself for a change.

    2. Brobonk said “The jesters keep poking fun, but it has only galvanized us.” Then he denied that spite was a motivation for Trump supporters.

Brobonk thinks we are all as dumb as Trump supporters. Brobonk is wrong again.

  2. I guess the $24.8 million in the first 24 hours was fake too?

The jesters keep poking fun, but it has only galvanized us. Did you see the energy in Orlando? This thing is becoming a movement!

    1. Well at least you admit your entire motivation is spite and ‘owning the libs’ rather than actual logic or policy. Glad you think that’s an appropriate strategy for running the county. That ideology has such a great track record over human history. I’m sure Trump’s bank account and golf trips appreciate your charity.
