Few things are as reliable as fans complaining about casting an established character. They are (almost) as reliably wrong.

This is based on the books, not the games, but the understanding is that Yennefer is Geralt’s peer. Cavill is a little old for the start of the tale (I’d put him at late 20s or maybe 30,the white hair is part of his mutation, not due to age) but the girl they have playing Yennefer is only 21 and looks younger. You’ve got “young” with Freya and Ciri, no idea why their standard Hollywood phobia of women being played by adults is in effect here. Surely there are 30-something actresses willing to go naked a lot in a very high visibility new series.
