    1. The phrase “he must know” hardly ever applies to Trump. I mean, you are right, he should know, but the width, depth, and breadth of his ignorance are always surprising us.

    1. The world as a whole, which includes the US military, gives Donald Trump far too much respect. Particularly considering that it is hard to think of anything he has done to earn respect in his entire life. Winning the presidency might have counted, except A) IMO, it was to a large extent the product of 30 years of a well-funded right wing propaganda machine, and B) to a lesser extent the product of pro-Trump Russian meddling. And anybody who thinks the Russian would meddle on behalf of Trump because he would be GOOD for America has rocks in their head.
