This was not some fly-by-night guy from some scam degree mill like Trump University or Arizona State. He is the former chairman of Drexel’s Engineering Department!

This sort of thing happened in or around Boston about 30 years ago. In that instance, the professor became obsessed with one of the strippers or prostitutes he was squandering the grant money on and murdered her. There was a TV movie about it, starring Richard Crenna and Karen Young. That’s the only I reason I remember it, because I like Karen Young.
