I just had a 24-hour travel day followed by nine hours of sleep.

I hope all that travel took you somewhere warm.
No. I went to Europe with one of my kids. It was warmer than Wisconsin, but, hell, most places are. I actually prefer to go to European tourist areas in winter because they are too crowded in summer and a/c isn’t as common as in the States. Anyway, I don’t go to Europe for the beaches. The weather isn’t critical for museums, churches and restaurants.
It was the first time for me In Europe since I stopped going there on business, decades ago. Very nice visit.
I’d hate to say it, but I had the same thoughts when I checked this morning and still saw the Fraternity Vacation post on the top.

Just out of curiousity, if something bad were to happen to you, do you have some procedures in place to let us be notified?
I’ve always assumed there was some doomsday plan that if one of the other contributors (Brainscan, Johnny Moronic, etc.) didn’t get a message from you every 24 hours or so that they should log into the site and post a message (along with a pre-written obituary).
But then you just went 24 hours with posting and now I’m wondering if the whole system is flawed.
Not much I could do. I had a 24-hour commute yesterday, and was basically incommunicado. (And then I slept for 9).
