Brit Hume admits he should be dead

I fully support his efforts in that regard.

Brit Hume: It’s ‘Entirely Reasonable’ the Elderly Would Want to Die to Save Economy

  1. I think there is a world of difference between being willing to risk a higher chance of catching Covid even if that would come with a high chance of death because of preexisting conditions for yourself and being willing to risk other people. There undoubtedly are seniors that would be willing to take that risk, and not just because of what’s happened to their retirement savings. But I for one am not willing to let them take it. Even if I was, the issue is more than the potential death toll. It’s the WAY so many people would die, crammed into makeshift hospitals with overworked healthcare professionals and without proper ventilator support. THAT is why we need to flatten the curve, not flood hospitals with at risk seniors.

  2. I no longer remember who Britt Hume is, or what he is well known for, although I know I have heard his name. After this, I am not inclined to Google him. Why don’t any of these people who advocate sacrificing lives for the benefit of the economy lead by example?

  3. Anyone want to make a bet on what ‘ol Brit will do if comes down with coronavirus?

Spoiler: “voluntarily give up his hospital bed and ventilator” ain’t going to be the winning bet.

  4. It’s hard to believe Brit Hume first made a name for himself as one of the more diligent journalists digging into Nixon and Watergate. It would have been best if he had died years ago and maintained his reputation.

  5. Hey, I’m on board. Or if dying is a bridge too far, maybe he could just shut up & stay off the TV.
