Trump just said Seoul has "38 million people" in it. That's such an oddly wrong and yet specific number, I did a google search for Seoul. pic.twitter.com/iuK0g6iBSo

SCOOP’s NOTE: The altitude of Seoul is probably just a coincidence. It’s hard to imagine Trump looking up a fact. I base that on the Maynard G Krebs rule, which states that Trump’s reaction to “facts” is the same as Maynard’s reaction to “work.”
He confused the population with the elevation as listed on the Wikipedia page.
It’s unlikely that he would look anything up on Wikipedia. He’s not intellectually curious.
Alternate theory:
Eric Trump looked the number up on wiki to impress him and gave the elevation.
So like 4 times as many people as NYC? Even a shithead should have known that was wrong.
My guess? 38 million is the population of the Tokyo metropolitan area. He heard that somewhere and got the cities confused.
Every Asian (city?) looks the same to him.
