I don’t automatically think of her when I consider the most popular performer of nude scenes in the internet era. I think of Jennifer Connelly, Kate Winslet, Heather Graham, Salma Hayek and others. But the reality is that Ricci has probably been the nude scene queen of the past quarter century.
She had the #1 nude scene of the year in 2003 (Prozac Nation) and 2007 (Black Snake Moan), and those were not even two of her best nude scenes. Those occurred in 2010 (9th place for After Life) and 2017 (8th place for Z).

I know why. She waited past her prime.
She was incredible in her teens. Amazing. Did Prozac Nation and just floored us. Then, had the surgery strictly to “get more serious roles” (actually part of her lifelong struggle with eating disorders to try and get tiny) and vanished.
Then, she pops up nude again in Black Snake Moan bone thin, blonde, and not even resembling herself.
By the time AfterLife came around, she was 30. She’d gotten a handle on her eating issues but was still super thin, the youth was gone, and her “hot” years were behind her.
She’s a beautiful woman, and I’m glad she’s healthier and working (and naked) but the best years just vanished to her eating disorder and personal issues. She had some good indie roles in there, but one of them (Route 66) is at least partially responsible for this. (Vincent Gallo’s abusive treatment of her during that film fed her issues like rocket fuel.)
