Margo Stilley: explicit sex in a “mainstream” “film”

A .gif of Margo Stilley in 9 Songs (2004)

BBC gave it the lowest possible rating, and huffed with classic British aplomb that the film was a “stultifying, self-conscious, and flesh-creepingly repulsive lot of codswallop.”

So they liked it more than I did.

    1. The BBC’s film reviewer. They used to have them online at bbc.co.uk. Maybe they still do.

      1. OK, thanks for that.

I think the review must have been written when the film first came out. I don’t think it’s ever been shown on BBC television.

I looked at Margo Stilley entry in IMDB. I didn’t realise she had done so much work after 9 Songs. I was quite surprised.

  1. Well, I wasn’t stultified or repulsed, but she *is* walloping the hell out of his cod.
