“Antonio Sabato Jr. Says He’s Launching a ‘Conservative Movie Studio,’ Teases Film with Scott Baio”

Whiner Brothers?

In the future, everyone will own a film studio for 15 minutes.

At last! The world has been holding its collective breath for the next film starring Chachi!

  1. If you’ve ever been able to stomach watching one of the “films” — I’ve never had the fortitude to make it very far — you’ll know how hilariously inept the filmmaking is, how horrid the acting is, and how they’re completely devoid of any production values. They’re basically the shitty Facebook post your crazy uncle makes put to film.

Come to think of it, they’re pretty much the perfect distillation of the current-era wing nut right wing.

    1. I always feel these things are best enjoyed by reading their reviews, written by poor bastards who have to watch them because they are professional critics. I’m on the lookout, though, for something so godawful (see what I did there?) that it would be watchable for the laffs. Atlas Shrugged 3 sounded close but nah. If you picture Baio in the lead and possibly Jon Voight wandering in to try class up the joint, there’s potential here. I remain cautiously pessimistic.

  2. There would be some kind of market for that, just like there are for those “Left Behind” books and similar works. But if it was a big market, someone would already be making money from it. Is that what Kirk Cameron has been doing for the past 20 years?
