No consolation prize for this game …
Earlier this week, Woolery tweeted that, essentially, everyone was lying about COVID 19, “The CDC, media, Democrats, our Doctors” were all lying to make sure Trump lost the election. Trump immediately re-Tweeted Woolery’s Tweet, basically agreeing with him and throwing Dr. Fauci and every right thinking person under the bus.
The next day Woolery backtracked. The reason? His son, he said, had tested positive for the virus. “Covid-19 is here and it is real,” he said, contradicting his entire prior Tweet. And his whole philosophy. The former host of “Love Connection,” outspoken right winger and supporter of Donald Trump, has deleted his Twitter account
BTW – Chuck’s Twitter has been suspended apparently… Or he deleted everything.
And, as they say on Fark, “nothing of value was lost.”
Duh! I mean who wouldn’t trust a game show host’s opinion? Whenever I go to the hospital I push the doctors and nurses aside and go to the gift shop for a diagnosis.
And why shouldn’t you, Dennis? That’s what the PRESIDENT did in this example!
I think you’re onto something. Doctors can err, but by the game show code, the host must always reveal the correct answer.
Hmm, maybe the universe *does* have a sense of karma after all…
There’s that moral arc of the universe again.
It is long and it bends slowly, almost imperceptibly, but it does eventually bend toward justice.
