How come she never became a star? Can’t understand it.
Because she was never in a blockbuster hit. “Dream Lover” sure wasn’t, as much as I liked it. “Twilight” sure was, and it made Kristen Stewart a star.
And as much as I liked Amick, she didn’t have that quality that made lots of people want to see her no matter what she was in. Both Julia Roberts and Jennifer Lopez had that, and apparently so does Jennifer Lawrence (I don’t see many movies any more).
I’ve had that thought as well. Of course I also always think that about Jaime Murray, Caroline Dhavernas and Jennifer Ehle. Obviously they are/were missing “it,” whatever it is.
