1. So, Gohmert might be gracious in person, but he does bad things in his official capacity. I think the same thing was true of Bush the Younger. I will be glad when Gohmert no longer has an official capacity.

   Also, there are reports that he refused to allow his Senate staff to wear masks. It’s hard to know what to believe about people these days.

   1. That’s a pretty good trick given that he’s a Representative and not a Senator.

2. A friend of mine who retired a couple of years ago after working for the office of the the Architect of the Capitol for decades who got to know most of the Congresscritters, some a little more than he would have liked, was talking to me a bit back about the “Freedom Caucus” (we’re both ex-Republicans) types. He said that Meadows, Jordan, Nunes & Gaetz were some of the biggest A-holes you could ever meet but the one big surprise was always Louie. Dumber than any two boxes of rocks but very good-natured and considerate. Out to lunch but a nice guy. So I’m with the daughter on this. Get well Louie.

   1. I wish him a comfortable recovery and a resounding electoral defeat. You don’t want to see a man suffer because nature didn’t give him the brainpower and common sense of a baby manatee.

      I would have somewhat different wishes for those other guys you mentioned.

      1. No…I blame the voters that elected him.

      2. Gohmert represents a safe district. He’s there for life.

   2. I can personally vouch for Meadows’ assholitry.
