If real, the first really worthwhile paparazzi shot of the COVID era.
This is from the French magazine “Public” (full page or full magazine), which also debuted the Sophie Turner topless pics. The pic was supposedly snapped on August 5, 2020 in Positano, Italy. Of course, Photoshop shenanigans are always possible, but it seems to be genuine, as these are the same bottoms and the same earrings that she was wearing when the paparazzi caught some good booty shots.
UPDATE: In 2022, Emma was caught topless on a beach in Spain.
Human face recog is good but fickle. It goes to hell all too easily. Look at faces upside down, ability disappears. We do look at eyes, but recog is terrible when only see eyes. Lower face is key. Watson’s distinctive chin is blocked. Big grin is unfamiliar expression she rarely gives us. Takes away our key on lip shape. Brings out eye bags, can be a sign of aging, but babyish/signals youth as in her case. Zoom/crop, degrades quality, blur/pixels. Eyebrows out of focus, we expect bushy, can’t see it.
Generally, recog/beauty is inconstant. Never shows in every frame or shot. Light, shadow, angle, makeup all affect our vision. Pix that work best are always cherry-picked. Why A-listers pay fotogs. Who earn it. Even minor plastic surgery can play havoc with both recog & beauty.
