Fumble forward at 0:47. Not sure what the HS rule is but I think this might be dead ball with NFL rules.
I thought the same thing, but HS you can fumble forward as long as it’s not intentionally batted.
Really ugly play, a lot less Stanford band on the field, and a lot more about half the defense just standing around unless they were in on the tackle. No one seemed to get if players are in the backfield, if you play them you can stop the lateral.
After about three laterals, half the defense seemed to be like ‘screw this.’
