She is the most-nominated actress in (prime time) Emmy history (22 noms), and is just a legend in general. Drama, comedy, horror and Dancing With the Stars while in her 80s … Cloris could do it all well.

I will always remember Cloris Leachman as Lynda Carter’s mother, the Amazon Queen in the first episode of Wonder Woman. She only played her in the first episode as Carolyn Jones and then Beatrice Straight took over the role. But when I first watched the show, I had no idea who she was. The first role in which I became aware of her was as the nurse in High Anxiety. I think she gave me boob anxiety with her scary pointed breasts. Fortunately, I was able to overcome that anxiety. 🙂 Although, I wonder if that film is the reason till this day I don’t like fake boobs.
