Voting is closed.
The vote took place in three parts this year.
- In part one, there was a full month of nominations.
- In part two, we each ranked all of our selections from #1 to #77. Those choices were listed at random, separate on each ballot. That step determined the significant vote-getters and the seeding for the finals.
- In the finals, voters chose their one and only favorite for the year. The results were pretty clear. There was a definite #1. There were four others that were virtually tied for #2. Then there was everyone else. There was a massive drop-off between #1 and #2, and another one between #5 and #6. The numerical results appear at the bottom of this page.

And … choose
I’m shocked Plaza didn’t rate higher, I guess it was due to the brevity.
I did call the winner, although my girl Jamie didn’t win. Still think she deserved it. First time nudity, explicit scene with good lighting, lengthy scene, etc.
Saoirse just really didn’t show that much, the scene wasn’t lit well, and it was short. But, former child star does nudity for the first time, that formula wins ten out of ten times.
Time for a recount….isn’t that the American way? 🙂
Watch out Scoopy, Guiliani might sue you to challenge the vote just for the hell of it at this point.
I went with Aubrey Plaza. Artistically speaking it was a butthole year.
Me, I eliminate the ones with a merkin. Normally I’d have voted for Thandie, but I think that big ol’ bush is a rug. I don’t know the vast majority of the rest of these women; without Salma & Halle to choose from, it’s rough. But it’s not the 90’s anymore, so I went with the chick who got full frontal in front of Kidman, because that was sexy and no merkin.
I thought of voting for Thandie. I always liked her and I thick she’s natural here. But its nothing new and her nudity in S1 was much better.
I went with Ida Engvoll because I liked the humour of the scene.
I liked the Ida Engvoll scene as well. I considered that one, but vacillated, wavered, and ended up voting for De Angelis. Unlike some other years, I didn’t feel like I had a real favorite.
Roosa Söderholm in Baby Jane would’ve been my vote, but since she didn’t make it to the finals, I also went with Engvoll. Fun, memorable scene with a beautiful woman.
Whatever happened to Baby Jane?
I am disappointed that the one I wanted to vote for this year did not make the final cut. But I shall vote nonetheless, as it is my duty as a citizen.
Which one was that, Fallen? I apologize if you have said elsewhere, but if you did, it has slipped my mind. And thanks for voting, especially in the recent elections.
It was Elisa Echevarria Menendez from Unseen. Multiple episodes. Only 18 years old (post-2000 birthdate!) and this is her first nude performance. She had a scene where she walked through her school completely naked (she was invisible anyway), and in an interview she described how difficult it was despite everyone (cast and crew) being so nice.
No lower frontal shot though, so she could’ve been wearing a modesty patch or something. But for me, that was my pick for scene of the year.
Unseen may be the best named TV show of all time. It is literally unviewable , at least according to IMDB. Where/when/how did this show ever air in the U.S., or did it? How did you see it?
It is a Belgian show. I don’t think it has been officially shown anywhere else yet (but it’s quite easy to find the episodes online, including on youtube).
It is also known as “Invisible”
