Helen Slater in A House in the Hills

There is an HD version floating around

In the full frame, open matte version, there is a glimpse of either her pubic hair or something covering that area.

  1. I remember watching that in motion. The camera panned up so you could see her face without a cut. Individual pubic hairs. In this snap, if you look closely, you can just about make them out. Might be a merkin, but that wasn’t really a thing back then. If someone wanted to deny they did the nudity, but people could see it was really them showing pubes, only they weren’t “my actual pubes”…

I don’t think at the time it occurred to anyone that such a preposterous lie could be credible. Covering yourself with something that looks like a pussy & not at all like clothing, does that actually protect your modesty? Anyone calling you a slut will just say “sure looks real enough to me”.

What’s changed is that people can believably claim to not have pubes.

  2. This is where I found the HD version of the film. I’ve posted about this website before, so I guess it’s okay to do it again. Obviously I don’t want the site to crash so I try to not tell everybody.

Of course, it’s possible that lawyers come here to see if anybody is posting links to sites that might violate copywrite, so I don’t know if that is a concern.

The site now has 16,733 films. Some of them aren’t high definition, but RL has been going back and posting higher quality versions of as many films as can be found. There are a lot of good obscure films with nudity there, however, some of the HD versions have the nude scenes removed. The film starring Lynette Walden from 1996, Almost Blue, is HD, but the nude scenes are cut, and I know that’s not the only one (just the only one I care enough about to remember.)

    1. Thanks, Adam, that’s an interesting site. They have movies from the 1930’s and 40’s, which I like.

  3. I always liked her. But her supposed big break, the 1984 “Supergirl” was a fizzle, and she never seemed to be able to get a big part in a good movie. I was always glad to see her in whatever, though.
