It’s just so hard for me to believe this man is a criminal

  1. Perhaps at one time this man had a job where he was employed by people who were A) blind and B) obnoxious. Assuming he needed that job badly, this may have been his only recourse for the mistreatment he had to endure (perhaps for the benefit of his aged mother). I am sure we can all understand that, and even respect it as a small act of defiance against a cruel fate.

Especially since that fate now involves giving a perfect excuse to anyone at all who feels like punching him.

  2. Must be on a sabbatical from Harvard.

But seriously, I really like face tattoos — much like a rattlesnake’s rattle, it’s nature’s way of telling you to steer clear, because nothing positive can come from the upcoming interaction.

  3. Be fair now, it’s not like he’s going to ace the job interview with that ink.

    1. You have to admit that he made a decent career choice. He couldn’t make it as a robber, because you’d call the police as soon as you saw him. The same is true with all other face-to-face crimes. Moreover, it would be easy to ID him to the police and to pick him out of a line-up.

But burglary can be a solo activity in the dead of night, and you’re your own boss, so appearance is unimportant.

His only other good choice would be writing a snarky celebrity blog.

      1. Yeah or he could be an IRS auditor or work the desk at the DMV. Truth in advertising, right?
