I guess it depends on how one completes the thought. Less than what? If it’s less than Pete Davidson – certainly. If it’s less than they used to – maybe. If it’s less than me – probably not, unless they are Tibetan monks.

There’s an interesting article about this trend by Jonah Goldberg, the conservative columnist, entitled “We are all turning Japanese.” Basically due to social breakdown (and the internet), a larger percentage of people are not engaging in social activities anymore and becoming functional loners. The pandemic has undoubtedly accelerated this trend.
