Livilla, the quite nasty herself main squeeze of maybe the nastiest character in a series not exactly lacking for them: Captain Picard. Amazing amount of nudity to be coming over the air in the mid 70s. The Messalina (Sheila White) scenes were spectacular. And after all these years, my first thought, whenever I see Sir Patrick Stewart, is still “Sejanus”.
Then there was the time a female friend of mine was dating a guy who wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed. After watching three episodes, he thought the guy’s name was Iclaudius.
Could have been worse. He might have thought it was I. Clavdivs.
