Good pic, but it’s a Drunken Stepfather link, and many people get hijacked by those.

I found out today that the link works fine for me on my computer, but gets hijacked when I use my phone with my home wi-fi. Since both links came from the same IP, and both links came from Other Crap, and I used Chrome for both links, by the process of elimination it must be something in the operating system or device identification. People have reported the problem on both Android and Apple phones, so it is not specific to a single OS. That’s all I know so far. Has anyone been hijacked while using a laptop or desktop computer?

At any rate …

So far, our commenters have concluded that the links are safe if you copy the URL, then paste it into your address bar.

Or you could just ignore them.

So … caveat surfor

  1. As to the content, just gotta say, that is one small breasted woman. Wow.

Nothing wrong with that, it takes all kinds.

  2. I use Chrome on my desktop, and I usually get hijacked.

But not this time. This worked fine.

  3. My record in going to the father straight from this site on this machine recently:
    1. Malicious Domain Request
    2. no problemo
    3. M.D.R.
    4. n.p.
Not exactly picking up a pattern here.

    1. It seems to me that I will have just to stop linking to his site until he gets this under control.

  4. It messes up for me with the Brave browser on Windows 10 on my laptop.

I opened up the network viewer in the browser to see what was happening, but because clicking on the link opens it in a new tab, the new tab doesn’t have the network viewer active (you have to activate it per tab), so it’s too late to see what path the packets took. If I’m feeling energetic I might capture some packets and dump the TCP session to see what the hell is going on.

    1. In Brave, I have Shields Up & both Popup Blocker & Super Agent addons, resulting in “site refused to connect” even when pasted into a Private window. But then, there’s Private w/Tor (Shift+Alt+N). Worked for me.
