Twitter’s paid blue check marks are already kaput

In addition to a rash of fake celebrities, “Fake accounts purporting to be big brands have popped up with the blue check since the new roll-out, including Musk’s Tesla and SpaceX. Drugmaker Eli Lilly and Co issued an apology after an imposter account tweeted that insulin would be free.”

  1. Man, 5-10 years ago when he was the underdog standing up to shitty corporate giants in the auto industry and defense industry (with SpaceX) he seemed like a good guy (as long as you didn’t have to work for him). Now it is so obvious that he is just one of the worst.
