Whoa, Sister Dude, you nuns have really changed since I was a kid

“Out near California’s Yosemite National Park, a group of nuns is growing, harvesting and producing their own line of cannabis products.”

“Known as the Sisters of the Valley, the women are not associated with any traditional religion. Rather, they see themselves as feminist healers. But through their cannabis ventures, the collective is known to go by another name: the ‘weed nuns.'”

(NOTE: they only produce CBD products. No THC. Or so they claim.)

  1. Might I asked what has NOT changed since you were a kid? I believe I am younger than you, and the only thing that comes readily to mind is milK, and even that is packaged much differently. Even light bulbs have changed radically.

Oh, sure, death and taxes, but who wants death and taxes?

    1. Ovaltine. Ovaltine has NOT changed since you were a kid. That’s it. Oh, and Cher. Ovaltine and Cher, that’s it.

      1. Keith Richards ~ paraphrasing YT post ~ we have to start thinking about what kind of world we will be leaving for Keith Richards. 😮

    2. Well, there’s Bardahl, chess, the Empire State Building, and the infield fly rule.

And Jane Fonda still looks the same.

And a lot of things that had changed are now changing back to the way they were when I was a kid: measles and chicken pox, for example. Polio and tuberculosis can’t be far behind.

Also Hostess Sno-Balls, but to be fair, that could be because the same ones are still on the shelves.

      1. Who cares about Sno-Balls in a world without Suzy-Qs?! But yes, good calls on all the other stuff. Especially about the things that are changing back. I am still waiting for the silly cellphone and TouchTone fads to end, and we get back to REAL telephones with real dials.

To be fair, right now we are halfway there.

  2. If you think they’re nuns, just wait til you hear about the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.
