I always feel bad for daughters of great beauties. Sure Deva is cute, but Monica Bellucci is an all-timer. It’s interesting that a lot of celebrities kids still try to be models/actors/athletes even then, because it’s just so hard to reach the peak that the famous parent reached, so you get a lot of situations like Michael Jordon’s son also trying to be a basketball player. Occasionally you get a Leni Klum or Steph Curry though so I guess it makes sense to try.
Yeah I think about that a lot with Leni – she is one of the few that may actually surpass her mom’s beauty – so many of the second generations are pretty, but still not quite as pretty.
In terms of beauty alone, exclusive of stardom, I’d say that Gwyneth Paltrow and Mariska Hargitay were not as gorgeous as their mothers, even though the daughters had more impressive careers.
It seemed to work out OK for Angelina Jolie, Drew Barrymore (3rd generation), Gwyneth Paltrow, Alexander Skarsgård, Ben Stiller, Robin Thicke, Mariska Hargitay, Ken Griffey Jr. and Miley Cyrus, who became bigger stars than their parents.
Kate Hudson, Charlie Sheen, Rob Reiner, Jamie Lee Curtis, Laura Dern, Zoe Kravitz (third generation), Jane Fonda, Abby Elliott (third generation), Enrique Iglesias, Norah Jones and Kiefer Sutherland are debatable.
The daughter of Milla Jovovich is a carbon copy of her mother. Ever Anderson is only 15 now, but that is the same age her mother was when she started making a splash. She has been in a few movies
