We all tend to speak more slowly as we age, so you can imagine how slowly John Malkovich speaks now that he’s an old coot. I think there were a few sentences in this film where he actually broke the space-time continuum and went back in time. Unfortunately, it works in reverse for us listening, as we find ourselves significantly older after each of his sentences.
