… but the lighting is unnecessarily funky. I understand when strip club scenes are shot in strip club lighting. I don’t understand why directors think that strip club lighting somehow improves a bedroom scene.

They want to show female nudity, but at the same time not offend everyone who associates female nudity with objectification. Unfortunately, good lighting today is reserved only for scenes with male nudity. But it’s still a good scene, better than I expected from HBO.
