Two tourists are found murdered in a tent on a midsummer evening in 1970. The crime intertwines the lives of four random people. Blackwater is based on a 1993 novel by the Swedish writer Kerstin Ekman. It received the August Prize in 1993 and the Nordic Council Literature Prize in 1994.
It also won the Best Swedish Crime Novel Award, beating out nearly one other candidate.
Kidding aside, it is ranked among the best crime novels ever written in Swedish. The Guardian’s critic ranks it #2, ahead of the far more famous Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.
This is a new German-language mini-series. It’s clearly intended to be a German version of the popular American Crime Story series. The first season is about the search for the so-called “acid barrel killer,” who terrorized Hamburg between 1986 and 1992.
The same performer appears in The Wizard of Oz, The Bride Came C.O.D., Arsenic and Old Lace, You Can’t Take It With You and It’s a Wonderful Life.

There is also an Alena Ushkova who was a “semi-finalist of the International Beauty Contest ‘Miss Office’ 2022.” I don’t know whether that is the same woman, but I love this pageant!
The word “International” is typical Russian propaganda. This is basically a Russian competition with a few foreigners sprinkled in, mostly from countries under Russia’s heel, like Belarus and Georgia, as well as a few ethnic Russians who live outside of Russia. To illustrate, here are the 2022 winners. The site lists the winners of the last six competitions, meaning 24 women. 21 of them are from Russia, 2 from Georgia, and one of the Miss Congeniality winners is from the USA with the good ol’ red-white-and-blue name of Anastasiia Fedorova.
In order to create that international flavor, the contestant’s names are written in Roman script rather than Cyrillic, and the home page is written in a language that sort of resembles English. Here’s a real example: “The international beauty pageant Miss Office is a whole year of castings, filming, communication with journalists and, of course, an enchanting final show. Marital status and the presence of children doesn’t not matter.”

Oh, this is Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches! I guess I will hang in there for the long-awaited Larry Flynt’s Mayfair Witches.
You probably remember her as Stephanie, the spoiled rich girl who had to work as a maid at Bob Newhart’s inn in rural Vermont. The Newhart series made her face universally recognizable, and earned her seven consecutive Emmy nominations, granting her permanent respectability, but before that gig began she did a topless sex scene in a low-budget 1981 slasher film called Night Warning. (In home media releases it is called “Butcher, Baker, Nightmare Maker.”)

The diminutive actress is about 70 now, and has written an autobiographical account of her years in showbiz. Entitled Bad Auditions, her book was published in 2018. The AADA praised its honesty, calling it “an irreverent, light-hearted look into the real world of auditions – the good, the awkward, and the hilariously strange. In it, she regales readers with side-splitting stories of her own ‘bad’ auditions, in order to give fellow performers both insight and hopefully a sense they’re not alone.”

Alexandra Daddario had fully dressed sex in the first episode of Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches. The Inuits wear less on a seal hunt. She wore a shirt, possibly with a bra beneath, and pulled the covers up to her waist in the rear shot, so she could have been wearing ski pants, for all we know.
Here’s the closest she came to any exposure. You may be able to make out the vague outline of an areola.
But I doubt it.
