This is a Mexican thriller about a home invasion.

Maggie is in her final days of pregnancy, when she and her husband Sean are attacked in their isolated home by two people who decide to wait with them until Monday to empty the family’s bank accounts. The couple is willing to give them whatever they ask for, as long as they allow them to go to the hospital. But the thieves have other plans, and with the baby will come revelations they never would have expected.

Instintos is not a masterpiece, but given the obviously modest budget, it’s a fairly taut little thriller with some unexpected plot twists.

I first assumed that the cameraman must be her date, but her comments seem to indicate that she must have brought along a third party to film her date, and I assume that was a woman since they filmed in the ladies room.

Well, that assumes that I understand her comments. It’s not always easy to follow her train of thought.

So should you ask Britney out? The good news: she might say yes. The bad news: she’ll show up for the date with a third-party cameraperson, and then she tell her 42 million followers that you’re absolutely horrible.
