Damn, that was a long time ago!
Longer ago still was the real Isadora Duncan, who died in 1927. Imagine how shocking these monkeyshines were in that era!
The above pic by Arnold Genthe, as shown in the collection of the Library of Congress, looks like Isadora, but may be one of her proteges. Genthe photographed Duncan and her troupe in 1915.
This one, also by Genthe, is unquestionably Duncan in a see-through gown, as certified here.
There’s no nudity except a hint of areola, but it’s still pretty great
